Sunday Times economics editor David Smith will join fund managers including Henderson Global Investors' Bill McQuaker to tackle the concept of investing in volatile markets at an upcoming industry forum.

The Cofunds event, which takes place at Merchant Taylors Hall in London on 7 March, will see The Sunday Times' Smith, McQuaker and others share their views on the global economy. "Volatility has been a feature of investing for some time now and all indicators point to it continuing to be for the foreseeable future, therefore the guidance and insight these top fund managers can give about their particular sectors is invaluable," said Cofunds head of marketing operations Stephen Wynne-Jones.
