Towergate CEO Derby stands down

Ian Darby, chief executive of Towergate Financial, has stepped down from his role in order to pursue other interests.

Darby, who has been appointed non-executive chairman of mortgage intermediary John Charcol, is being replaced by Towergate chief operating officer Dan Saulter on December 1. He became chief of Towergate in October 2008 after holding executive and non-executive roles at Sesame.
