Lazard Asset Management is looking to Ireland to set up its latest fund based on the group's $500m multi-asset class emerging markets investment program.

Jai Jacob is the overall manager who, together with Lazard AM's teams, will invest across cash, equities, long and short fixed income including debt and credit, FX, options, and interest rate derivatives. Explaining the strategy and how it compares with fund-of-fund approaches to multi-strategy investment, Jacob had this to say.
