New chief risk officer for Standard Bank Offshore

Mark Hucker has been appointed Chief Risk Officer for Standard Bank Offshore.

The appointment will apply to Standard Bank Offshore's three jurisdictions with Hucker's main focus primarily in Jersey, while also overseeing the Isle of Man and Mauritius. Standard Bank Jersey’s Chief Executive Officer, Russell Harte, says, “This is an important role for the Offshore Group and I am confident that Mark’s knowledge of the critical risks, and opportunities, facing the sector will be invaluable to us going forward and we welcome him on board.” A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Hucker has built up extensive offshore experience over ...
