Banks attract over 1,000 data breach complaints - papers

High street banks have attracted 1,163 complaints over data breaches in a year according to consumer group Which?

claims the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) is doing too little to protect consumers' data, the Daily Mail reports. Santander, Halifax, Barclays and Nationwide were accused of losing details, sending personal documents in unsealed envelopes, and linking customers to the wrong addresses.
