HSBC lists four emerging market ETFs

HSBC has launched four single country emerging market ETFs providing exposure to Indonesian, Korean, Malaysian and Taiwanese equities.

All will be listed on the London Stock Exchange by today at a total expense ratio of 0.60%, with further registrations and cross-listings planned for across Europe. In line with HSBC's existing ETF platform, the HSBC MSCI Indonesia, MSCI Korea, MSIC Malaysia and MSCI Taiwan funds will all use physical replication to replicate their underlying indices. HSBC head of ETFs Farley Thomas says: "Investors in Europe have historically had access to Indonesia and Malaysia through swap-based ETFs and there is generally a limited choice available for investors seeking access to all four of these...
