Structured product sales dip in 2010 but still up 66.5% 2007

Sales of structured products in the retail market reached £12.3bn in 2010, £1.5bn down on the total sales for 2009 of £13.9bn, according to data from structuredretailproducts.com.

Yet, despite sales for 2010 slipping below 2009 levels, the annual figure was 66.5% higher than in 2007. Providers expressed surprise at the slide, given sales figures at July of around £7.3bn but said...
