FSA to run £20 RDR adviser roadshows

The FSA is to run a series of roadshows to help IFAs prepare for the RDR, at a cost of £20 per adviser.

The roadshows will cover rule changes around adviser charging, advice labels and professional standards. Only one adviser per firm will be permitted to attend the roadshows and they will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of each session. The FSA says: "Now the RDR rules have been published in the three key areas of adviser charging, advice labelling and professional standards, investment advisers from small firms are encouraged to book onto one of the half day roadshows.
