Former The Apprentice contestant and mortgage broker Christopher Farrell today received a nine-month suspended prison sentence for doctoring applications to hit sales targets.
Farrell, who appeared on the most recent series of the reality show, pleaded guilty last month to four counts of fraud, having been arrested in August. The 29-year-old's sentence is suspended for two years and he has also been ordered to do 200 hours of community service following a hearing at Plymouth Crown Court today. He worked as a mortgage and insurance adviser with Mortgages for Plymouth between November 2007 and August 2009.
