SimplyBiz ditches Defaqto for Capita

SimplyBiz has signed a three year deal with Capita Financial Software for the provision of free product and fund research to its members.

The support service provider's members were previously offered access to Defaqto's Aequos system but will now receive licences for the Synaptic research suite and Capita's quotation and e-apply portal, Webline. Over 1,500 licences will be issued over the coming weeks for the research suite, allowing advisers to analyse, compare, and justify recommendation for retirement, protection, and investment products.
