iShares appoints head of sales for EMEA region

iShares has named David Gardner for the newly created role of head of sales for iShares EMEA.

Gardner, who joined iShares in 2000, will be responsible for driving the company's sales effort across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will report to iShares EMEA managing director and head, Joe Linhares. Linhares says the EMEA region is a key market for iShares, with huge potential for growth as investors continue to develop their understanding of ETFs. Gardner has fulfilled multiple executive roles in both the US and Asia Pacific in his ten years at iShares.
