BlackRock creates Global iShares Investment Strategy Group

BlackRock has created the Global iShares Investment Strategy Group in response to increasing client interest in ETF investment trends and insights.

The new group will be lead by Russ Koesterich, as global chief investment strategist. Koesterich's selection comes after his 2008 publication The ETF Strategist, which focused on using ETFs to manage risk and return within a portfolio. Koesterich will also continue to work leading the Investment Strategy team within BlackRock's Scientific Active Equity Group, where he has been since 2005.
