South Korea lists inaugural Nasdaq 100 ETF

The Nasdaq OMX Group has released the first ETF tracking the Nasdaq 100 index in South Korea.

The Tiger Nasdaq 100 ETF provides domestic investors with exposure to the 100 largest, global non-financial securities listed on the Nasdaq exchange, including Apple, Google and Microsoft. The new listing adds to the 23 ETFs tracking the Nasdaq 100 worldwide. However there are significantly more structured products based on the index, amounting to 2,500. The ETF is sponsored by Mirae Maps Global Investments, a member of Mirae Asset Group which is an ETF specialist in South Korea.
