State Street appoints global head of ETF product development

State Street Global Advisors (SSgA) has appointed Scott Ebner as global head of ETF product development, based in London.

In his new role, Ebner will be responsible for developing and launching the firm's ETFs worldwide. He will report to James Ross, global head of ETFs at SSgA. Prior to joining the firm, Ebner was global head of exchange-traded products (ETPs) at NYSE Euronext, where he oversaw the listing and trading of ETFs, warrants, certificates, structured notes, investment funds and other listed products.
