Allpress joins Liontrust as retail distribution head

Liontrust has appointed former OMAM and Mellon sales chief Mark Allpress as its new head of retail distribution.

Allpress will have a particular focus on expanding the group's sales capabilities to the adviser, wealth manager, platform and life company spaces. He was formerly head of retail distribution at Old Mutual Asset Management, after moving from BNY Mellon in 2008. "With the recruitment of Mark, strong performance across our range of funds and higher profile of the firm through our increased marketing activity, we believe we are well positioned for a continued increase in retail sales," Liontrust chief executive John Ions says.
