Principal launches model portfolios on three wraps

Principal Investment Management has launched a set of model portfolios on three platforms as it looks to make discretionary fund management accessible to the lower and middle market.

Wealth Space, now live on Skandia, Ascentric and Nucleus, comprises a set of six risk-rated model portfolios including a mix of equity, cash and bond funds which are rebalanced on a quarterly basis. "This is about democratising discretionary fund management and making it more accessible," says Principal sales and marketing manager Adrian Jewitt who expects three more wraps to sign up to the investment offering by year-end. "We are going out to clients who would not be able to afford our normal service." He adds Principal is looking to sign 50 IFA firms up over the next two years. ...
