David Jane to depart M&G

M&G multi-asset fund manager David Jane has decided to leave the group.

Jane's £682m M&G Managed and £282m M&G Cautious Multi-Asset funds will now be run by George Tsinonis, who runs a similar product for European investors. Jane joined M&G in 2000 to work on the global specialist equity team. He became head of equity investments in 2002. M&G says Jane has left the group as a consequence of the group handing stalwart Dave Fishwick the newly created head of retail investment management role. Jane is exploring other opportunities in the industry, including a possible role at M&G parent Prudential.
