Multi-asset sectors dominate Cofunds sales

The Cautious Managed and Balanced Managed sectors gained momentum on Cofunds during May as advisers look increasingly to diversified sectors.

Cautious Managed took 36% of net retail sales for the month, up from 27.8% in April. Balanced Managed also made gains with a 6.7% share of sales compared to 5.3% the previous month. The bias towards diversified sectors is also underlined by the stellar showing of both Global Growth and Global Bonds, with Global Growth increasing its share of the spoils from 2% in April to 9.5% in May. Standard Life Investments Global Absolute Return Strategy, Newton Global Higher Income and M&G Global Dividend all featured in the top 10 selling funds on the platform.
