IndexIQ releases Taiwan small cap ETF

IndexIQ has released an ETF providing exposure to the small capitalisation sector of publicly traded companies domiciled and primarily listed in Taiwan.

The IQ Taiwan Small Cap ETF, listed on NYSE Arca in the US, tracks the performance of the IQ Taiwan Small Cap capitalisation-weighted index. To be included in the index, companies must have a minimum average market capitalisation of $150m for the prior 90 day period and the maximum capitalisation must be equal to the bottom 15% of ranking companies in Taiwan. Individual stocks must have a minimum average daily trading volume of at least one million dollars for the prior 90 days. The index is rebalanced quarterly.
