Pegrum to leave Cazenove

Cazenove's Neil Pegrum is leaving the firm after five years to take up a role at Soros Fund Management.

Paul Marriage, who has worked with Pegrum for many years and is co-manager of the Cazenove Absolute UK Dynamic vehicle and hedge fund version, will become lead manager on both funds. Julie Dean, who currently manages the group's UK Opportunities fund, will assume responsibility for the long-only UK Dynamic product. Dean plans to bring the vehicle more in line with her Opportunities fund over time.
