ProShares launches two leveraged US Treasury ETFs

ProShares has launched two ETFs providing leveraged exposure to the US Treasury market on the NYSE Arca exchange.

The ProShares Ultra 20+ Year Treasury fund is designed to deliver twice the daily performance of the Barclays Capital 20+ Year US Treasury index. The issuer has also released the ProShares Ultra 7-10 Year Treasury fund, which returns twice the daily performance of the Barclays Capital 7-10 Year US Treasury index. ProShares says demand for the firm's inverse Treasury funds has also been strong, with the ProShares UltraShort 20+ Year Treasury ETF attracting more than $4.6bn in less than two years.
