Property tops retail sales as Corporate Bond suffers outflow

Property was the top selling net retail sector for the first time in over two years in October, as Corporate Bonds slumped to a net outflow.

IMA Property saw a £367.6m net retail inflow in October - ahead of the Unclassified, Absolute Return and £ Strategic Bond classifications. The £ Corporate Bond sector had a £11.8m net retail outflow, just under the £14.9m net redemption from the UK All Companies sector. Total net retail sales were £2.4bn over the month; the seventh consecutive month the £2bn mark has been reached.
