Dow Jones and Company will sell its stake in Stoxx indices to Deutsche Boerse and Six Group for €206.1m.
Under the agreement, Deutsche Boerse and Six Group become sole operators of Stoxx for a total of €206.1m, comprising Dow Jones's €131.1m one-third stake and €74m for certain intellectual property rights. At the close of the transaction, Deutsche Boerse will control Stoxx through 50% ownership plus one share, while Six Group will hold 50% minus one share. The transaction is expected to be finalised before the first quarter of next year.
