The Pacific Investment Management Company (Pimco) has launched two ETFs tracking indices comprising US Treasury securities.
The Pimco 25+ Year Zero Coupon US Treasury index fund is designed to capitalise on expected interest rate movements, or efficiently manage long-term liabilities sensitive to interest rates. The underlying index includes quarterly rebalancing, arranged to match the fund's dividend distributions. The Pimco 3-7 Year US Treasury index fund adds to an existing range of Pimco ETFs tracking indices consisting of 1-3 year and 7-15 year Treasury securities.
