Healix increases 'Toxic' country list

Medical risk assessment experts, Healix Group, has added Malta, Turkey and Singapore to its ‘Toxic Destinations' list. The addition follows three years claims analysis reflecting the high costs of claims incurred in these countries.

The USA is topped by Singapore and China for costs of claims in the top three - for China the average cost of medical claims was over £1,200." The upgrading of these countries has now been incorporated into the Healix Risk Rating tools utilised by the majority of UK based travel insurers.
