The Latin American ETF industry has experienced 45.8% growth in assets year to date, according to the latest ETF Landscape Review from Barclays Global Investors.
The review shows that Latin America has 11 locally domiciled ETFs, 174 exchange listings and assets of $7.47bn from two providers - iShares and Banco Itau - on two exchanges, as of the end of May. It highlights that the average daily trading volume of ETFs in US dollars has also increased by 34.1% to $172.8m, year to date.
