Regulator approves first Hong Kong ETF for Taiwan

The approval allows the Wise Csi 300 China Tracker, managed by Boci-Prudential Asset Management, to apply for listing on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has also granted an approval in principal to the first Taiwan ETF - the Polaris Taiwan Top 50 Tracker Fund - to be cross-listed in Hong Kong through a feeder fund. The authorisation and listing of this ETF is due to be finalised soon.
