Investor confidence turned positive last month, as the IMA GB Investor Confidence Index climbed to 106 in May.
The index passed the 'neutral' position of 100, on the scale of 0-200 and has risen 35 points compared to six months ago. Furthermore, the IMA GB Investor Intentions Index has gained 10 points since November 2008, to reach 99 points in May. The IMA says investors are mostly neutral about putting money into new investments. The Great British Investor report also found over half of investors think the current investment market has improved compared to six months ago.
