Insight future to be confirmed by end of June

Lloyds Group will make an announcement to staff on the future of Insight Investment, by the end of June.

IFAonline's sister title Investment Week understands employees of the group have been told they will be updated on the bank's plans for the business before the end of Q2 2009. The information follows reports today that Lloyds asset management MD Abdallah Nauphal is locked in talks with the company over a management buyout of Insight's third party business. There was also speculation last week that Clive Cowdery's Resolution is weighing up a bid. Spokespeople for both Insight and Lloyds declined to comment. IFAonline
