ETFS appoints Mark Weeks as ETF Exchange CEO

ETF Securities (ETFS) has appointed Mark Weeks as the chief executive of ETF Exchange, a third-generation ETF platform. Weeks will be responsible for driving the ETF Exchange strategy and business development, while coordinating with other parties involved in the platform. The appointment represents part of ETFS' expansion plan, which aims to join with large global financial institutions to increase the ETF Exchange and become Europe's "leading ETF issuer."
