North's John Husselbee is still holding between 55pc and 70pc cash weightings in recently-launched fund of funds portfolios run on behalf of Way Group, Sentinel Universal and Unizone because of uncertain markets.
The largest of these portfolios, Sentinel Universal, has accumulated £12m since its June launch and, while Husselbee has recently bought into India and the S&P 500, it still holds 60pc in cash. Unizone Financial Solutions' pH Diversified and pH Dynamic, which were both launched in May, hold combined funds of around £9m and each have a 55pc cash weighting. Husselbee also confirmed that Way Group's £1.5m MA Cautious portfolio has held close to 70pc in cash since its June launch.
