This week Standard Life Investments celebrates its 10 th anniversary since it began trading.
In 1998, Standard Life launched a £60bn investment house, headed by chief executive Sandy Crombie, with third party funds under management of £5.3bn. A retrospective marking the milestone has seen third party funds soar to £44.7bn, while total funds under management have more than doubled, from £60bn to £123.6bn. The global fund manager has also seen its equities under management grow over 55pc to £52.7bn, while fixed interest assets have increased to £43bn and property assets have risen to £12bn.
