Rathbone Investment Management's funds under management dipped by 5.7pc in Q3, from £10.5bn to £9.9bn.
In its interim management statement (IMS), the company also reported a 20pc fall in the scale of its unit trust business, from £1.5bn to £1.2bn. Meanwhile, operating income fell 4.1pc to £32.4m over the quarter. For the first nine months of the year, net inflows were 7.1pc, while operating income was 0.7pc up on the first nine months of 2007.
