HSBC and Insight multi-managers to be replaced

Three prominent multi-managers have fallen victim to restructuring and are set to be replaced.

Nick Pothier will replace Cara MacGregor as the lead manager for the HSBC Open Global Return fund. Elsewhere, Mike Pinggera will replace Patrick Armstrong and Ana Cukic Armstrong, lead managers on the Insight Diversified Target Return (DTR) fund, following a restructure of its multi-asset business. Pothier, who is already the lead manager for the HSBC Open Global Distribution fund, will be able to draw on the expertise of the wider multi-manager business around the world, working with specialists across equity, fixed income and real estate.
