SANTANDER Asset Management has appointed Estrella Llorente as senior portfolio manager in charge of the day-to-day running of its Abbey multi-manager portfolios.
The Abbey multi-manager range includes Equity, Balanced and Cautious portfolios which are currently supervised by an investment team headed by chief investment officer, John Bearman. The funds were originally set up by James Bevan and John Kelly, though both have left the company over the past 12 months. Llorente was previously at Santander’s offices in Spain where she specialised in global markets and commodities.
