Barings appoints new head for Global Aggregate business

Barings Asset Management has appointed Harjeet Heer as head of its Global Aggregate business in its fixed income and currency team.

Heer previously worked at Credit Suisse, where he gained over 20 years experience, most recently as a managing director and chief operating officer of the fixed income business. His previous roles include head of global fixed income product. He was also a member of Credit Suisse's global interest rate group, the global currency group and head of the fixed income asset allocation team. In his new role at Barings, Heer will report to Alan Wilde, head of fixed income and currency.
