Threadneedle's Rossi leaves for Gartmore

Dominic Rossi has resigned from his position as head of equities at Threadneedle to join Gartmore as chief investment officer later this year.

Rossi, who has been with Threadneedle for 11 years, has managed the Riversource Global Equity fund since 2003. Prior to this, he managed the Latin America Growth fund. Sarah Arkle, chief investment officer at Threadneedle, will assume the role of head of equities in the interim. She said: "We've a strong leadership team in place with experienced regional heads who will continue to lead active debate and idea sharing across the investment team.
