F&C has appointed Dean Cheeseman as director of fund of funds and co-manager of its multi-manager range alongside current head Richard Philbin.
Cheeseman will join F&C in December from Forsyth Partners, where he was head of developed markets. He will replace Tom Caddick, Philbin's former deputy, who left the group in October for a role at LV=Asset Management. At Forsyth, Cheeseman was responsible for mutual fund research across all geographies and sectors but with a specialist focus on the UK, European and North American equities.
