Schroders has appointed Rami Sidani as head of Middle East & North Africa (MENA) portfolio management, and co-manager of its $592m ISF Middle East fund.
Sidani joins from SHUAA Capital, where he managed over $1bn in equities across the MENA region. He has more than six years investment experience and has managed conventional as well as specialist funds in all twelve Arab equity markets. Sidani will report of Allan Conway, head of emerging market equities. Schroders confirmed it expects to make further additions to this team in the near future.
