IFAs up-to-date with IHT

MORE than 90pc of IFAs have got to grips with the recent changes made to IHT legislation, according to a survey.

Friends Provident has discovered that, in spite of concern surrounding implementation of changes, 28pc of IFAs now have a good understanding of IHT following the alterations, while 64pc have some understanding. The study also found IFAs are much more comfortable recommending IHT planning solutions to their clients, with 53pc stating they were quite confident and 16pc very confident.
