FundsNetwork ISA sales up 37pc in 2006/7 season

ISA sales through Fidelity FundsNetwork were up 37pc year on year this ISA season with SIPP sales up 413pc.

FundsNetwork said this underlined the continuing trend of using platforms for ISA business and the emergence of a new SIPP season. FundsNetwork reported gross ISA season sales of £542m, an increase of 29pc on last year. Over the same period, the platform also experienced a massive uplift of 413pc for investments into its SIPP, taking net sales from £25m to £128m. On April 5 alone, £13.6m of ISA and SIPP investments were made at collection points across the country.
