Defaqto has pointed to a shift in focus from ascertaining cost towards seeking quality-based information by those using price comparison websites.

The independent financial data collector asserted that this was due to an increase in demand for whole of market data. In the past year, Defaqto has joined forces with several leading price comparison and websites who are placing significant commercial importance and value in providing their consumers with whole-of-market information from an independent source.
