iimia fund manager joins Crowley at Hawksmoor

John Crowley has hired former iimia Wealth Management colleague Richard Scott as chief investment officer of recently-formed discretionary provider Hawksmoor Investment Management.

Scott was a senior fund manager at iimia, charged with running the successful CF iimia Growth & Income fund from its launch in 2005. He began his City career with Smith New Court before moving to Hambros Bank. In 1995, he joined Exeter Investment Group which became iimia in 2004. Crowley, previously head of investment management at iimia, formed Exeter-based Hawksmoor at the end of 2007. He is chief executive of the company.
