Miton's Liddle looks to Asia

Recent market turbulence has had a detrimental effect on the CF Miton Global Portfolio, but manager Sam Liddle has confidence in the fund's top-down strategy and focus on asset allocation.

In the last six months the fund has fallen by 10.97pc (according to Lipper 30/04/08). However, Liddle is confident in his convictions and believes the fund will start to perform well again soon. He said: "There are areas at the moment where I see a lot of value. An example of this is in China; whilst it is obviously a strong growth story in itself, finding a particular sector which will benefit is where we can really capitalise." Liddle recently added to his holding in the Atlantis China fund, and intends to invest in the Martin Currie China Healthcare fund when launched on July 1. "...
