STANDARD Life Investments (SLI) has launched a European Smaller companies fund, aimed at both retail and institutional clients.
Structured as a sub-fund within SLI’s Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV range, it will invest in a diversified portfolio of smaller companies across Europe. Managed by Ken Nicholson, the fund will aim to provide medium to long term capital growth and features 40 to 60 ‘highest conviction’ stock ideas. It is a high alpha, actively managed fund that will take a purely bottom-up approach.
