Skandia set to launch MM alternative asset fund

SKANDIA Investment Group (SIG) has outlined its plans for an innovative new fund offering access to a range of 10 alternative asset classes within a single structure.

The multi-manager fund will offer retail investors exposure to asset classes that have traditionally been the preserve of institutions, private banks and higher net worth individuals. Skandia says its structure is based on adviser feedback and will be available to clients both directly, and through wrappers, including ISAs, pensions, onshore and offshore bonds. The fund offers diversification alongside the potential for strong investment returns and will have a very low expected correlation to equities, bonds and property.
