RWC Partners (formally MPC Investors) has recruited Carmel Peters and Kirsty McLaren from Sofaer Capital, ahead of the launch of its new RWC Asia Ascent fund.
Peters brings a strong track record in the management of long only and absolute return funds. Most recently, she was the lead portfolio manager at Sofaer responsible for its Asia Hedge fund. McLaren was joint portfolio manager of the same fund and has over 13 years of experience in Asian and emerging market equities. Peter Harrison, chief executive at RWC Partners, described the fund as "a compelling offering to the investment community."
