AIFA has promoted Andrew Strange to the new position of policy director.
Strange has been senior policy analyst at AIFA since April 2007, and will take up his new position on June 23. He will lead the policy team in formulating policy on legislative, regulatory and technical issues as well as responses to Government and regulatory consultations. Prior to joining the policy team at AIFA, he had a strong practitioner background, having worked as an IFA. He also ran his own financial services company serving primarily the mortgage and protection markets.
