Close Accelerated Return pays max to investors

Investors in Close Investments' Accelerated Return fund will receive the maximum capital repayment of 166 pence per share.

The fund was listed on the LSE on April 8, 2003 at 100p per share with the aim of providing capital growth from a FTSE 100-linked portfolio, with a degree of capital protection over a five and-a-half year period. The fund has now matured and will pay investors the maximum capital entitlement of 199p per share. This represents an annualised return of 9.65pc and a cumulative five and- a-half year return of 66pc.
