FORMER Credit Suisse managers Rob Burdett and Gary Potter have taken up their new roles as heads of Thames River Capital's new long-only multi-manger team, with an initial range of five core funds anticipated to be unveiled by the group in early September.
Burdett and Potter have been on gardening leave since resigning from Credit Suisse in February. They launched Credit Suisse’s multi-manager proposition in August 2001, and the business had grown to over £1.2bn at the time of their departure. The pair have been reunited at Thames River with Kelly Prior, Paul Green and Anthony Willis who also moved to the company from Credit Suisse in April, and have subsequently undertaken preparatory research ahead of the new fund launches. “By welcoming Rob and Gary to Thames River, we are marking a significant step in the company’s development,” s...
